Do You Have Burnout?
That health problem you’ve got that you just can’t shake?
You wish you had the energy and motivation to go back on that detox diet you did last year, but you can’t get past the first 4 hours.
Lying on the couch (or in bed) and staring at your phone, scrolling through the reels and memes looking for inspiration. Trying to find the answers of why you feel so crap.
You’re tired all the time.
You can’t concentrate at work.
You’ve been to the doctor. Your blood test results are “all fine” from a medical point of view and your doctor says #noproblemo
Except maybe you don’t quite feel like you’re leaning in for a high five just yet.
You’re still not feeling amazing. You haven’t got as much energy and motivation as you’d like. You don’t have as much patience for things as you’d like. You’ve written it off as stress, having a lot on your plate, you haven’t been sleeping so well, you’ve got family responsibilities, you just need a holiday, you’re still getting over that cold you had a few weeks ago. Or was that a few months ago now?
It’s so easy to write off entire years of your life with your health limping along at half capacity (at best). The result is that you’re not humming along in your life as well as you think you are. You’re surviving. Life is kinda ok, most days. Some days it’s barely doable. Some days you wish you could stay in bed all day, pull the blankets over your head and wish the world would go away - just for one day. Maybe you do that on occasion because that’s all you have the spoons for. You’re hanging on by a few threads. It can be scary to look too closely, because then you might realise how delicate and precarious a situation this can be.
I work with so many people whose fuel tanks are red-lining and barely above empty on a GOOD day. Working with them, I can help them get to a place of feeling like they’ve got their spark back. They feel like have found their way back in time to the energy of their youth. That health problem that was plaguing them? Gone.
